Special Opportunity to CBSE students to participate in the NCHMCT Counselling for admission to Hospitality Based Courses

CBSE in collaboration with National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) offers hospitality-based Skill subjects (viz. Food Production & Front Office Operations) in classes IX to XII in its schools. NCHMCT is a government body established in 1982 to regulate and run hospitality education programmes in India. It has established 21 premier institutes all over India. This partnership between CBSE and NCHMCT ensures that students receive industry-relevant education and training, aligning them with the demands and trends of the hospitality sector.

To be eligible for admission to Bachelor’s programmes offered by NCHMCT, students must have successfully passed class XII or its equivalent. Thereafter, they need to qualify the NCHMCT Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM-JEE) which is followed by the centralized online counselling process.

NCHMCT is offering a special opportunity to the CBSE students who have passed class XII with Hospitality Based subjects to register and participate directly in the counselling process for admission to the Bachelor programmes.
